The geocar principle

A camper that can do more because it weighs less.

For over 30 years we have built campers that keep one promise: maximum freedom at minimum weight. While other campers are made from bonded panels, we mould our shell in one piece — monocoque construction in glass-fibre reinforced plastic.

No seams that break or leak. No thermal bridges. Just a shell that works with your vehicle, not against it — light enough to preserve payload and handling, and premium enough to feel like home for decades.

How we build

Our promise

Four reasons a geocar is different.

01

Lightweight

Approx. 380 to 440 kg fully equipped, depending on model, instead of 700 kg and up. More payload, lower centre of gravity and better handling. Lightweight is our principle, not a detail.

02

Durability

Seamless monocoque shell, no thermal bridges, premium laminates. Built to outlast vehicle generations.

03

Design & drive

Streamlined shape with tear-off edges. Guaranteed wow factor, standing still or in a corner.

04

Flexibility

Removable in minutes. Your pickup stays a daily driver; your camper waits for the next adventure.

Technology

Why one piece beats many.

Most campers are assembled from individual panels, bonded and screwed. Every seam is a potential weak point: for moisture, cold and fatigue.

Our monocoque shell has none of those seams. It absorbs the typical movements of a pickup ladder frame permanently without fatigue — protecting itself and your vehicle.

For self-employed & businesses

A vehicle that works. And can be a retreat.

Pickups are VAT-deductible in Austria and may benefit from NoVA depending on model. A geocar with a workspace can serve as a mobile office, with PAKA and TAPIR also offering a wet room. At the weekend it becomes your personal retreat.

Good questions

What travellers ask us most often.

Depending on the model, fully equipped weight is approx. 380 to 440 kg: PAKA approx. 380 kg, APOLLON approx. 420 kg and TAPIR approx. 440 kg. That preserves your pickup's payload and keeps the centre of gravity low.

All common double and extra cabs: Ford Ranger and Raptor, Toyota Hilux, VW Amarok, Mitsubishi L200, Isuzu D-Max and US pickups.

Using the integrated jack legs, the camper can be removed in minutes with a few hand movements. Your pickup stays fully usable day to day.

Yes. The seamless monocoque shell has no thermal bridges. A lithium power pack, PV system and diesel heating with a separate tank support year-round off-grid travel; additional electric heating is available as backup.

PAKA is available from a €48,000 guide price, APOLLON from €53,000 and TAPIR from €55,000. Contact us for a personal quote.

PAKA is the lighter entry model without side extensions or side windows, with a wet room and separating toilet. APOLLON shares TAPIR's outer shell but has no wet room, offering a larger kitchen, more storage, windows on both sides and space for a mobile toilet instead. TAPIR is the premium space marvel with side extensions, windows, a left outer flap and a wet room with a LooSeal ELITE sealed toilet.

The shell is made from glass-fibre reinforced plastic in one piece, without bonded panels or seams. No leaky joints, no thermal bridges, permanently torsion-resistant.
