The protection and security of your personal data matter to us. We process personal data solely in accordance with the Austrian Data Protection Act and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Below we explain the nature, scope and purpose of collecting and using your personal data, as well as your rights.

Processing to perform contracts or legal duties
To perform a contract or take pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), we process in particular the data you provide, e.g. name, email address, phone number, message content and — where stated — information about your pickup and interest in our models.
Contact form & email
When you contact us by form or email, we process your details to handle and respond to the enquiry. Messages are sent via our email provider (Resend); the recipient is office@geocar.com. We do not share data for advertising. Data are deleted when no longer needed to handle the enquiry, unless statutory retention duties apply.
Processing based on legitimate interests
Based on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), we process device and activity data (e.g. access times, pages viewed), server log files and IP address / ISP name where needed for IT security, technical administration of the website and improving our offering.
Server log files
When the website is accessed, technically necessary log data (e.g. IP address, time, requested resource, user agent) are processed to ensure operation and system security and to administer the site. Server logs are kept for a maximum of one year and may be shared with law enforcement if required by law in case of suspected unlawful access.
Web analytics with Matomo
We use Matomo, a web analytics service hosted on livedesign servers at https://matomo.livedesign.at/ (site ID 5). Information about your use of this website (including your IP address — partly masked — and user agent) may be stored in anonymised form to generate reports and improve our offering. Data are not shared with third parties for advertising.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in measuring reach and improving the site). You may object at any time (opt-out below). If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” preference, we honour it where technically supported.
Matomo uses first-party cookies, including _pk_id (typically 13 months), _pk_ses (about 30 minutes) and _pk_ref (typically 6 months). An opt-out sets the mtm_consent_removed cookie.
Google Tag Manager & Google Ads
We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-N6HR32MQ) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Tag Manager itself usually does not set its own cookies but may fire other tags. Measurement and marketing tags (including Google Ads / conversion tracking) may be loaded via the container.
Where Google Ads or conversion tracking is used, usage data and click/event information may be processed and transferred to Google, including outside the EU. The legal basis is — where required — your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or our legitimate interest in measuring marketing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), depending on the concrete tag setup.

Cookies
This website uses cookies and similar technologies — small text files that may be stored on your device. Strictly necessary cookies support site operation. Analytics and marketing cookies (e.g. Matomo, Google) help us improve the site and measure reach and conversions. You can configure your browser to restrict or delete cookies; some features may then be limited. Details on Matomo cookies and opt-out are in the “Web analytics with Matomo” section.
Recipients & processors
Where necessary we share data with technical service providers that support website operation and communication (hosting, email via Resend, Matomo hosting at livedesign, Google Tag Manager / Google). We do not share data with unrelated third parties for advertising. In case of attacks, server logs may be shared with law enforcement.
Retention period
We store personal data only as long as needed for the respective purposes or as required by law. Server logs up to one year; contact enquiries after handling is complete or as required by statutory periods; Matomo and marketing data according to the respective cookie/tool settings and opt-out options.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, contact office@geocar.com.
